You aren't being told the truth

I have to tell you that it's frustrating. How often I see people being fed a line of bull about how much can be made with apps, or how fast things can happen online using "online only" techniques. Let me give you an example. The game angry birds. Do you know that Roxio makes MOST of it's revenue from angry birds from licensing the angry birds logo to t-shirt companies, pillow companies, and so on? In other words, while it is true that angry birds, the single most popular game in existence, is successful in it's own right, MOST of what it makes does NOT come from the app! This same thing can also be said of the now wildly successful "Temple Run" game as well. These are companies that are using apps as a way to fuel REAL business ... where the HUGE money is made. Here's the thing, apps are a great way to make a little extra. The issue is that you can make SO MUCH MORE ... and do it so much faster, when you combine apps with other strategies and tactics. I mean really, aren't you tired of wondering where your web traffic is going to come from? Aren't you tired of wondering how you're going to get downloads of your apps? A week ago today I started a blog over at wordpress.  It's at http://mattgoffrey.wordpress.com

In that single week I've gotten 500 visitors to the blog, 50 people signed up to the mailing list, but more importantly 12 new consulting clients.  Because of how I'm paid, each of these should be worth $200,000 to me pretty easily if they follow my advice (and most do because of how I work with people).

So how did I do this?  How did such new blog ... and a free blog hosted on wordpress no less ... get traffic, email subscribers, and new business?

Best Business To Be In Now

This is going to be an uncharacteristically short post.

Here's the bottom line.  If you're relatively new in business, or struggling with the business that you are in, then you DEFINITELY need to stop what you're doing and start a mobile app business.

There is no question that this is the best business to be in right now.

You can make an insanely huge amount of money in an insanely short period of time.

Now, let me point something out, I said "you can make..."

As in it's possible.  That doesn't mean that "you will" by any stretch.  However, in my opinion, you can make more with less effort than ANYTHING else.  I'm even starting to switch everything I over to focusing on this for some very simple reasons:

1. Over the last 9 months I've made over 1.5 million dollars with that amount going upward WEEKLY
2. At the same time I've spent only about an hour a day working on it

My point here is that I'll probably not be posting here too often anymore.
